Dr. Kelli Dummerth joined us in 2022, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on our team! In addition to being highly trained, she is extremely passionate about creating smiles. In fact, when asked what she loves most about being a dentist, she said it’s seeing first-hand a patient’s newfound confidence. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Growing up, Dr. Dummerth knew she wanted to work in the medical field. However, it wasn’t until her own orthodontic journey that she was inspired to become a dentist. After four years of braces and headgear, her new smile made her confidence go from 0 to 100! Now, she is proud to use her talent, passion, and training to help others experience the same boost to their self-esteem.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Dummerth completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Missouri - Kansas City before obtaining her dental degree at the UMKC Dental School. After that, she completed a General Practice Residency at University Health Lakewood before undergoing additional training in implant placement. Today, she stays abreast of the latest techniques and technology through The Course Implant Training and the American Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Dummerth’s family consists of her mother, father, sister, brother-in-law, niece, nephew, and dog, Rylie. As for hobbies, she enjoys going to wineries, traveling, playing with her dog, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Here’s a fun fact about her: she was a figure skater for 13 years!
